Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-11

Draft: this policy describes how the site is built today. It must be reviewed, completed and, if advertising is added, updated before launch.

Who runs this site

Robinhood SaaS, India. Contact: robinhoodsaas@gmail.com.

Your videos

Videos are processed inside your browser, on your device. The site has no upload feature and no server that receives, stores or processes your videos. We never receive your videos, their filenames or their contents, and we keep no copies.

While you use the page, your browser holds your video and the result in temporary memory and browser-managed storage. When you close or leave the page, or start over, we release these. We can't promise that every trace is erased from your device's memory or storage; that is controlled by your browser and operating system.

What we and our providers may process

"No video uploads" doesn't mean "no data at all". The following is processed separately from your videos:

  • Hosting and network provider. The site is delivered through a hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare). Like any website host, it processes technical request information such as IP address, browser type and requested pages, in server logs and for security and performance. This is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Aggregate usage counters. To learn whether the tool works for people, the site may record anonymous counts of events such as "started", "completed" or "failed", with the name of the tool and a general failure category. These counters never include your filenames, video contents, sizes, durations or other properties of your video, and aren't linked to you. They are not sent if your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
  • Page-view statistics. The site may use a privacy-focused page-view measurement service that doesn't use cookies to track you across sites.
  • Accounts. There are none. We don't collect your name or email address through the tools.

Cookies and local storage

VidCruncher sets no cookies and keeps nothing in local storage. If advertising is added, the cookies and storage it uses will be listed here first.

Advertising

The site is meant to be paid for by advertising later. At the time of this draft no advertising is active. Before ads appear, this policy will be updated and, where the law asks for it, you will be asked for your consent first. You will be able to change or withdraw your choice at any time, and declining won't stop you from using the tools.

Where data is processed

Our hosting and advertising providers run servers in several countries, including the United States. VidCruncher is run from India. Ordinary technical data such as your IP address reaches those providers when you load any page, as it does on any website.

Why we process data

Where the GDPR applies: personalised advertising rests on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Delivering and securing the site rests on our legitimate interest in running it safely.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to certain processing and to complain to a data protection authority (in France, the CNIL). Because we don't hold your videos or an account for you, there is usually little to retrieve, but you can write to us at robinhoodsaas@gmail.com and we will respond.

Children

The site is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

We will update this page when the site's data practices change, and show the date above.
